Every result on this site carries someone else’s name beside it.

Panchabhuta’s work sits where place, community, knowledge, conservation and enterprise meet — and each of those needs a different kind of partner. This is where that starts.

02Where This Fits

Panchabhuta’s work sits where place, community, knowledge, conservation and enterprise meet — and none of those five hold up alone.

Institution, Method, Capabilities, Evidence, Knowledge, Participation — that’s the order PCF itself works in. Participation is the last link, deliberately: trust only converts into a relationship once there’s real evidence behind it, not before. Everywhere else on this site has been building that evidence. This page is the Participation layer — the different ways an actual relationship can start.

03Ways to Get Involved

Six real pathways — matched to who you are and what you have to bring, not a single generic form.

01

Explore the Research

Researchers, and the simply curious

PCF's own field-based research — basin mapping, ecosystem valuation, applied design — is open to browse, cite and download. No login required.

02

Fund & Partner

Funders and CSR partners

Institutional or CSR support for PCF's work, alongside its governance and transparency record. There is no online donation mechanism — every conversation starts directly.

03

Policy & Government Engagement

Government and policy stakeholders

Kept distinct from funding, by design — a regulatory-posture visitor is not a funding visitor. Informed by the Tadadi Port record and the Node 11 coastal-planning context.

04

Apply to Build

Prospective green entrepreneurs, and community members

PCF is developing the Rural Green Business Incubator, a proposal with Gubbi Labs spanning marine, bamboo, transport, food-agro and homestay verticals. It is not yet an operating programme — if a venture concept fits that direction, write in.

05

Enrol to Learn

Students and workshop participants

Permaculture Design Certificate courses and natural-cosmetics formulation workshops run at the Kagal field station. There is no live enrolment system yet — write in to ask what's currently running.

06

Get in Touch

Journalists, and general enquiries

Verified facts, the Tadadi Port record, and direct contact — for press coverage or any question this site hasn't already answered.

04Who Can Get Involved

Government & Policy

Verifying credibility before engaging on Node 11 or coastal planning.

Funders & CSR Partners

Institutional or CSR support for specific work.

Researchers & Institutions

Bringing a study, a method, or a partnership.

Students

Course and field-programme participants.

Media

Verified facts and a press kit, not a pitch.

Community Members

Local partnership, in plain language.

Citizens

No formal conversion required — reading and remembering is enough.

05From Interest to Action

01

Find your pathway

One of the six above will usually fit — if none obviously does, Get in Touch still reaches PCF directly.

02

Write in with specifics

What you want to contribute, and why — not a generic message.

03

Discuss the fit

PCF responds directly. There is no automated intake or status tracker.

04

Work together, where there is one

And where there isn't yet, that gets said plainly, not left unanswered.

06What Collaboration Has Looked Like

The homestay sites in the Uttara Kannada hills, photographed during Panchabhuta's 2016 homestay eco-tourism research

Ecosystem Services Valuation

With University of South Australia

A study that became the evidentiary basis against the Tadadi Port.

Basin & Ecosystem Mapping

With Gubbi Labs

Ongoing ecosystem assessment across the Aghanashini basin.

Tadadi Port Advocacy

With IISc, UN-level channels

A verified policy outcome, not an aspiration.

Ramsar Designation

Independent validation

31 January 2024 — the estuary's legal protection, not PCF's own claim.

The Innovation Toolkit

With Tonkin Liu Architects

An applied methodology now in active use inside incubation.

The 2016 Homestay Joint Venture

With a family in Kumta

A real 60/40 partnership — the model this page's pathways still point toward.
